Conference Welcome

On behalf of the Conference Organising Committee, we would like to thank you for attending the 2017 Australian Psychologists and Counsellors in Schools (APACS) National Conference.

The National Conference was held from Wednesday, 4th to Friday, 6th October, 2017 at the Rendezvous Hotel, 328 Flinders St, Melbourne. The Conference Official Opening and Welcome Reception was held on the evening of Wednesday, 4th October and the Conference Dinner will be held on Thursday, 5th October. The Conference venue is in the heart of the vibrant city of Melbourne and allows delegates to explore some of our famous laneways and boutique shopping that is a hallmark of this beautiful city.

The theme this year covered the promotion of wellbeing, inclusion and engagement in education; exploring issues and practice in supporting families and schools to nurture the growing learners in their care. The Conference was an opportunity to connect, and reconnect, within our community of practice in school psychology and counselling.

  • Two days of Conference presentations on Thursday 5th and Friday 6th October, 2017.
  • Conference Dinner on the evening of Thursday 5th October, 2017
